Birthday Bash Yacht Charter
Last night was a first for one of our Pronavia's - We hosted a thirteenth girls only birthday bash last night.
Admittedly this was a first for us and the sight of a Chocolate Fountain on the Nav table did send shivers down my spine, but fun was had by all and this morning the pink Limo arrived to collect the party.
I am too afraid to go down and look at the inside of the boat this morning.

The creation of a Super-Zero class at Skandia Cowes Week 2007
CEO of Cowes Combined Clubs, Stuart Quarrie, explains: ? - A typical Cowes Week course will provide tight Solent racing for these big boats on the day before the remaining 1,000 boats start their week?s racing. This allows the big boats the space they need and gives the Event a spectacular platform from which to launch the Week.?
Of course all very exciting to watch from the shore or on one of our corporate charter yachts.
The creation of a Super-Zero class with its own race series at Skandia Cowes Week 2007, is all set to entice the owners and skippers of the world?s largest and fastest ocean race yachts to compete at next year?s Cowes Week on the 4-11 August . This new class meets the demands of the owners of mainstream Class 1 boats to separate canting keelers from boats with fixed keels.

The New Pronavia 42 Classic
Here are a few sneak preview images of the new Pronavia 42 Classic. After a very successful year with the 2 new Pronavia 38's that arrived in the UK we are looking forward to seeing these on the water.
Like the Reflex 38 this new breed using the same hull is proving to be really something special when used in Corporate Race Charter as well as Corporate Sailing Days.

A years Racing with Sailing Logic
Garmin Hamble Winter Series
Puma Logic, sponsored by Gill, finished fifth in the Garmin Hamble Winter Series. The team sailed a fantastic series and can be justifiably proud of their results. Out of the eight races Puma scored a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and two 10th places.
Luck was not on Puma's side for the last two races. A confusing start line saw Puma start on the wrong line in race seven and they had no option other than to retire. Their subsequent 'request for redress' was turned down. The final race was cancelled on Sunday due to the severe weather conditions. Therefore Puma was forced to discard the last two races meaning one of the 10th places had to count in the series points. This pushed Puma from a good solid 3rd place to 5th in the series.
Philippe comments 'finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in four of the races at this level is outstanding. We have had an awesome few weekends of racing and Puma has been sailing so well. It is a real shame that the overall result did not entirely reflect the great performance of Puma. However, a good series is based on consistency and I guess that for reasons possibly beyond our control we were not quite consistent enough. It has been our best Winter Series yet though and I am really pleased with the way the team has developed and progressed.'
RORC Prize-giving
The RORC annual dinner and prize giving was held at the Merchant Taylors Hall in London on Wednesday 29 November. Sailing Logic Racing was well represented at the prize giving with fourteen crew members from Puma and Jaguar Logic.
Having had another fantastic offshore season Puma Logic was once again in the chocolates and the teams were honoured to be there to collect the David Fayle Memorial Cup for the Best Sailing School in the offshore series. This is now the fourth consecutive year that skipper Philippe has won this award. Even more impressive is that Puma Logic collected a RORC medallion for finishing third in IRC1 of the RORC series. This is the second consecutive year that Puma has been on the Podium.
Allie Smith, Managing Director, comments 'We are immensely proud of both teams aboard Jaguar and Puma Logic this year. It has been a fantastic season and for both boats to finish so well in the very tough SevenStar Round Britain & Ireland Race is tremendous. They finished 2nd and 4th respectively. There is only one offshore race in the last fifteen months when Puma Logic has not finished in the top two! I am full of admiration for both our teams and look forward to a fantastic 2007'
