ROLEX FASTNET RACE 2007

The infamous Rolex Fastnet Race is the highlight of the Royal Ocean Racing Club(RORC) calendar. It has earned the reputation as one of the most demanding offshore races and is widely considered one of the world?s classic ocean races. The 608 mile race is a fantastic test for skipper and crews with its tricky tidal currents and changeable weather conditions. The race attracts entrants from all around the globe with a diverse entry ranging from the fastest grand prix race yachts to small cruiser racer family boats.
Sailing Logic Racing is entering four teams in the 2007 Fastnet Race. All the teams
will train together and combine tactical/training briefings to maximise the facilities and structure we have implemented. The intention is our teams will learn from each other to constructively improve the level of all the teams whilst tilising the diverse and comprehensive experience of all our staff.
We cater for a complete cross section of experience levels and personal requirements. The important thing is that everyone comes with an open mind, loads
of enthusiasm, have a desire to do well and possess a great sense of humour.

The Yachts

Our fleet of Reflex 38 and Pronavia 38 yachts boast top quality Kevlar race sails.
The yachts are superbly maintained to the highest professional standard and the underneath of the boats have been fully race prepared to give them the vital edge to
maximise the teams chances of success. All our boats will have satellite communications and the latest routing software systems enabling the teams to maximise the tactical performance of the yachts.

Sailing Logic on track for a Hamble Winter Series podium position

Last weekend saw Puma Logic steam through the pack after a disastrous start. The day was not looking good when the number 1 Jib was damaged, and when finally the race started Puma was in 17th position. A combination of great sailing tactics and the odd element of luck mixed together with great sailing teamwork Puma after 2 hours crossed the finish line to take first place.
Only 2 races left in The HAMBLE WINTER SERIES so all to play for.
