The Rolex Fastnet 2007 Package is being delivered by Sailing Logic Racing
In 2005 our offshore racing team, aboard the Reflex 38 Puma Logic, claimed a superb victory in class in the Rolex Fastnet race. Furthermore, their consistent results in the RORC offshore racing season were good enough to secure the RORC Championship in IRC 1.
If there is one thing we know how to do well at Sailing Logic Racing it is to manage and run an offshore race campaign. Hardly surprising when you look at the wealth of experience our two directors bring to the campaigns. Five of the team from last year are back with us again this year to compete in the Round Britain and Ireland race. That speaks volumes for the success of our training and racing programmes.
Everyone who joins our teams are amateur sailors with varying degrees of experience. Many of them have very little racing experience prior to signing up. The training that we provide throughout the campaign will enable each crew member to develop their skills and be able to contribute greatly to the success of their team. What is important to us is that everyone improves their sailing skills whilst enjoying the excitement and thrills of offshore racing. No one joins our teams just to be ?rail bait.? Everyone plays an active and important role in the running of an offshore race yacht.
Sailing Logic Racing are entering three Reflex 38s and our brand new Pronavia 38 in the Rolex Fastnet Race 2007. All our yachts are meticulously maintained and race prepared to the highest professional standard. We are continually developing the sail wardrobe of the fleet with top quality Kevlar race sails. Each yacht has satellite communications equipment and tactical software to ensure that the very best weather information can be downloaded throughout the Fastnet Race.
We pride ourselves on the high quality of all the race skippers we use, who are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their enthusiastic approach and willingness to impart their skills on others is a prime ingredient in the success of our offshore teams.
Our Fastnet campaigns are open to anyone with some sailing experience. If you are in any doubts as to your suitability then do not hesitate to contact us, we will be only too pleased to chat to you. If you do not feel you have sufficient experience then we are bound to be able to rectify that.
