Last cowes week training day before Skandia Cowes week

Last weekend saw to the end the final training for Cowes week. The 3 Sailing Logic teams where out on the water and where joined on Sunday by Jaguar after the Round Britain and Ireland team snapped their boom during the RORC channel race. The teams did battle with light and varying winds. Mark Rushall joined the teams for some serious yacht race and tactical lessons, both in the classroom and on the water.

With Cowes week only a few days away there is a huge amount of excitement amongst the teams after all the training - good luck to all.

Friday afternoon sailing
Here is a Friday afternoon pic by us office bound crew. The Cowes week teams and round Britain and Ireland teams are out on the water doing some training with our race partners Sailing Logic Racing.
We snapped this pic from our office.

we would also be on the water right now :-)
Anyway, Cowes week is just around the corner, so not long to wait now.

Corporate evening sailing in the Solent

Over the past few weeks we have had some fantastic corporate evening yacht charters in the solent. The beauty about this corporate sailing is its after work for 4-5hours, just enough to get on the water and have a great time.

Cowes-Dinard-St Malo 2006 RORC race

What a great Race - With a spinnaker hoist on the start line the and the breeze behind the fleet it was an amazing run down to the needles. The wind dropped off later in the day, changing from the east and then built through the night.
St Malo provided the perfect stop over with glorious weather. Great race debrief over a french breakfast.

Well done to the Team on Puma, Jaguar and Cougar - 3 reflex 38's with the race training being run by Sailing Logic Racing. Once again Puma leading the reflex fleet to take 7th Place.
