With 2 boats now down south, one based in Gibraltar (Seawolf) and the other in Cadiz (Bongani) it seems like this year is going to a busy year with guests now opting for the option of weekend trips down to sunnier climate's, here is a little taster as to what the marina in Cadiz has to offer - Puerto Sherry, Cadiz.
These 2 options are a great alternative to RYA courses in the solent, we are also offering to split up the course's between the 3 locations (The Solent - Cadiz and Gibraltar) to give you a great variety in conditions
here to a summer of sun on the water
It might be all about the Med this year and specifically the Rolex Middle Sea Race, but amazingly we have started getting enquiries for the Fastnet 2011 Yacht Race.
We have started to plan the Fastnet Campaign, but because its only next year none of the RORC events can be planned for yet as the race dates are currently unknown
It will of course be as per the previous Fastnet Race years with a full programme of qualifiers and training
Campaign Costs

With our Pronavia 38 now down in Cadiz for the season, it was great to see our first RYA Yacht Master pass with flying colours, it was not an easy week due to the weather but a pass is a pass, the weather was bad, but still better doing your RYA courses down in Cadiz and Gibraltar than here in the UK at this time of year.
well Done Geoff

Before the start of the Middle Sea Race there is the opportunity to sail the yacht from Gibraltar to Malta - perfect for RYA Mile Building.
Race training and yacht preparation along with the always interesting scrutineering starts in Malta on Monday 18th October, the actual race start being on 23rd October 2010, followed by the amazing prize giving and banquet at 1200 Saturday 30th October, held at the very hospitable Malta Yacht Club.
This is a great opportunity to get your Mile Building and Mediterranean cruising all in one hit, well actually this year we are looking at doing this a little differently.
Mile Building in Autumn 2010: This will be a 2 boat trip, both Pronavia 38's that will have just completed the Middle Sea Race.
Dates and costs for these RYA Mile Building adventures are as follows: Gibraltar to Malta, 6th October 2010 - 10 days (990miles) £590.00 per place inclusive.
Malta to Gibraltar, 1st November 2010 - 10 days (990miles) £590.00 per place inclusive
The mile building trips to and from Malta are not run as RYA courses as such but we give everybody on board the opportunity to progress with there own sailing skills at whatever level they are at. There will be a Yachtmaster Instructor on board throughout, enabling you to draw on there knowledge during the trip.
We will be running a 3 on 6 off watch system enabling you to gain valuable night hours and we will give you the opportunity to fulfill skippered passages of over 60 miles which are all required to obtain your RYA Yachtmaster or RYA Coastal Skipper qualification. There will be a maximum of 6 people aboard each of our 2 yachts for each leg, allowing 2 people to be on watch together.
We will carry a sextant on the yachts, enabling you to practice many of the beneficial navigation techniques rarely covered during weekly courses. Also it gives people wanting to take sites for there Ocean cert many opportunities to do so. Our routing and ports of call along the way will all be very weather dependent and all on board will be included in the making of the passage plans etc. There will be some amazing stop overs on route
All in all it's a great opportunity to broaden your sailing experience, RYA course prep and horizons whilst having a probably very rare lifetime adventure.
