Madeira Race 2008 - RORC
The highlight of the RORC (Royal Ocean Racing Club) calendar in 2008 has to be the inaugural Madeira race which will start on August 11 2008 just off Cowes. The race is split between two legs of 1300 miles each with a stop over in Madeira.
So for those of you looking for a real adventure this year, or a top up after the Fastnet 07 then this could be the yacht race for you... Make no mistake, this will be a tough ocean race that will push the teams aboard our charter yachts to their limits.
The team will develop and train over the summer in and around the solent. Philippe Falle one of the countries most successful offshore skippers will lead the team over the summer period of training, leading up to the race itself - making sure the team have built a strong camaraderie and a unified set of core values and goals.
If you are interested in joining Philippe aboard Puma Logic for the Madeira race then please feel free to contact us.
Its going to be good, and if not this year then there is always the 2009 Fastnet Yacht Race.Labels: Madeira Race 2008
