A great Cowes Week video from last year, giving a little history on this now world famous yachting event.
This year we are able to offer both Corporate Yacht charter (Non Race) - Corporate race entry, and for the more hardened racer, full race training and entry. Days at cowes week can range from Single days to the entire week.
With the round the Island race already almost fully booked, Cowes Week yacht charter will be the next main event we are able to offer for some great corporate sailing.
The highlight of the RORC (Royal Ocean Racing Club) calendar in 2008 has to be the inaugural Madeira race which will start on August 11 2008 just off Cowes. The race is split between two legs of 1300 miles each with a stop over in Madeira.
So for those of you looking for a real adventure this year, or a top up after the Fastnet 07 then this could be the yacht race for you... Make no mistake, this will be a tough ocean race that will push the teams aboard our charter yachts to their limits.
The team will develop and train over the summer in and around the solent. Philippe Falle one of the countries most successful offshore skippers will lead the team over the summer period of training, leading up to the race itself - making sure the team have built a strong camaraderie and a unified set of core values and goals.
If you are interested in joining Philippe aboard Puma Logic for the Madeira race then please feel free to contact us.
Its going to be good, and if not this year then there is always the 2009 Fastnet Yacht Race.
Well, it really is the end of the season here in the UK - Bongani was lifted out this morning in the pouring rain.

We are proud to be able to offer you a chance to join a team to compete in the famous Rolex Middle Sea Race.
Our sister ship SeaWolf is now permanently based in Gibraltar offering Race charter and corporate sailing in the slightly more sunnier climate of Gibraltar.
SeaWolf will be the Pronavia 38 used in the race and a few training sessions, and Bongani based in the UK, will be used for pre-race training without having to travel to Gibraltar.
The Rolex Middle Sea Race course is a 606 nautical mile yacht race and is sailed in a anti-clockwise route.
Starting on the 18th October 2008. The Start is in Valletta Grand Harbour Malta, beneath the RMYC premises in Fort Manoel, the fleet will head north along the eastern coasts of Sicily up towards the Straits of Messina, this notorious stretch of water is famous for whirlpools and mythical sea monsters that legends are built from. Mt Etna is usually visible on the fleets port side, billowing ashes and lava throughout the night. Once through the Straits, the course leads north to the Aeolian Islands and the active volcano of Stromboli emitting a constant stream of multi-coloured lava, an awesome sight by day or night where the yachts turn west to the Egadi Islands. Passing between Marettimo and Favignana the crews head south towards the island of Lampedusa leaving Pantelleria to port.
Once past Lampedusa the fleet turns northeast on the final leg towards the South Comino Channel and the finish at Marsamxett Harbour. En route the crews take in an amazing diversity of landscape and sea conditions, all of which combine to create the attraction and challenge of this great yacht race.
6 Places are available, along with 2 professional crew so if you would like to take part in this prestigious race please contact us for more details on 02380 423308.
There will also be fantastic delivery opportunity's, ideal for mile building from Gibraltar to Malta and back, approx 800 miles each way, a great way to pile on the miles is the med.
Here we are again enduring another winter with the yachts now out the water getting some TLC and a good scrubbing making sure they are ready for next years corporate yacht charter season. I realized as I opened my subscription to Yachts and Yachting this morning that's next years season is just around the corner when The JPMorgan leaflet fell out advertising the 2008 round the island race.
