RYA Yachtmaster prep week
Yachtmaster preparation:
Cost: £525.00 per person per week
(5days/5nights)/ longer by request.
Yachtmaster Exam: £125.00 (1 Day)
Examination fee: £170.00 payable direct to RYA
Location: Gibraltar
Minimum Previous Experience: 50 days, 2500 miles, 50% in tidal
waters, 5 passages of at least 60 miles (2 as Skipper) including 2
overnight & 5 days as skipper.
Course Content:
Candidates will be set tasks to demonstrate their ability as
skipper of an offshore cruising yacht and may also be asked
questions on any part of the syllabus for all courses except
Yachtmaster Ocean. Training will be given specifically to areas
assessed that appear to be weak.
Our 2011 RYA courses will be run in Gibraltar in conjunction with
our partners Atlantic Charters Racing, onboard our
2 immaculate Pronavia 38 cruiser /racer yachts.
