Pre course requirements: 15 days seatime,(2 days as
skipper) 300miles, 8 night hours.
Assumed knowledge: Navigation to Coastal skipper theory level
and good sailing ability.
The Coastal skipper practical course will
prepare you to be able to skipper a yacht on coastal passages by
day and night, we endevour to cover 60 mile passages during your
week, enabling you to become familiar with passage making skills,
watch keeping rotas and route planning by setting of GPS waypoints
and routes.
