The Red Funnel Easter Challenge takes place over 3 days in April and is organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club with sponsorship from Red Funnel Ferries. There are 7 inshore races around a variety of ‘round the cans’ courses on the Solent, and are designed to get crews working together effectively.

The regatta is an ideal event for sailors that are largely inexperienced – it is designed as a training event and is a wonderful environment to learn and gain confidence on the water. Royal Yacht Association coaches will be on hand for the entire weekend to give useful hints and advice.

Charter Haus can guarantee a fabulous day out for your company, as well as a great opportunity for team building and bonding.

A full day of sailing for 8 people onboard our famous Pronavia 38. Over breakfast you and your guests will have an introduction to the day by your skipper and a comprehensive safety briefing.

Once your safety briefing is over you will cruise down to Cowes. All guests are actively encouraged to learn the ropes and take the helm. An optional gourmet lunch is served alternatively guests may go ashore to one of the fine restaurants the Solent has to offer.

After your lunch you get to do some sailing, at a level that is comfortable for you and the crew, some guests really want to fly, others just want to float around and enjoy some more drinks.

In the early evening you start your way back up the solent and enjoy some fresh scones with cream and Jam, served with tea or coffee (or another cold beer) – when back in the marina.
