Take out a pedigree ocean racing yacht for the day with guidance from David Melville, an experienced around-the world racing yacht skipper. This event is ideal for larger groups of up to 12 people as part of corporate team development.

With a thorough briefing in yacht safety and an overview of its operation, the team will go straight to the water for a practical session in sailing. The second half of the day will require high performance team skills as the group will have to cope with a demanding team challenge. Typical tasks involve navigating and controlling the boat around a set course, reinforcing skills learnt in earlier sessions. Exciting, taxing and mentally demanding, this team activity will reveal the group's leaders, team players and communicators.

Your group will have an invigorating day out whilst focusing on the key skills involved for high team performance.

The Pronavia 38 and Reflex 38 are fantastic performers under race conditions and are based on a recognised high performance IRC yacht design.

Spirit of Weymouth - Open 60
A unique opportunity to sail one of the fastest sailing boats around. Capable of speeds of up to 30kts. She can sail around the Isle of Wight in a matter of hours.

A full day of sailing for 8 people onboard our famous Pronavia 38. Over breakfast you and your guests will have an introduction to the day by your skipper and a comprehensive safety briefing.

Once your safety briefing is over you will cruise down to Cowes. All guests are actively encouraged to learn the ropes and take the helm. An optional gourmet lunch is served alternatively guests may go ashore to one of the fine restaurants the Solent has to offer.

After your lunch you get to do some sailing, at a level that is comfortable for you and the crew, some guests really want to fly, others just want to float around and enjoy some more drinks.

In the early evening you start your way back up the solent and enjoy some fresh scones with cream and Jam, served with tea or coffee (or another cold beer) – when back in the marina.
