Malta again, but this time for mile building

Boat prep is the order of the week this week in the run up to
the first Mile Building trip for the year. Its a
1000 mile sail from Malta back to our base in Gibraltar with
Atlantic Charters.
The weather in Malta is a balmy 15 degrees c. The crew arrive
from the UK this coming weekend and we set sail weather
depending, Monday the 1st Feb.

to have all 3 of the UK based Pronvia 38's competing in the
race.

With Bongani now moored in Gibraltar undergoing preparations for the Middle Sea Race it has become really evident why some sailing schools are cheaper than others, I really did naively think that most schools keep their yachts in top top condition. Lights winds dominated the regatta with one day of 15tks which made all the frustrations float away, what an amazing regatta - once again the hospitality of the the Melilla Regatta organizers and sponsors are something you would never experience UK waters. More mile building routes released down on the Atlantic coast of
Spain
- Our next mile building adventure will take us from
Gibraltar to Lagos, on the Portuguese Algarve coast, calling at
various ports along the way including the ancient city of Cadiz.

Gibraltar Regatta 24th/25th July 2010 there are only 2 crew places available for this year Gibraltar regatta (around the cans racing in Gibraltar Bay) on the Saturday then sailing around the Rock race on Sunday.
